. how can i make an appointment?

please visit the link in our instagram bio then click 'book a tiny tattuu' if you're unsure which appointment to book please read the service descriptions beneath each time slot. you can also find example designs and their appropriate time slots on our instagram highlights. if you're still unsure, please email your design idea to hello@tinytattuu.com and we will help you book the most appropriate appointment. a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and you have to be age 18+ to receive a tiny tattuu - no exceptions.

. how does tiny tattuu™ work?

after booking your appointment the next stage is coming to our Chester City Centre based studio. we will finalise your design and make any alterations necessary. we then print off, chat through your design, adjusting size and placement on the body, until you feel 100% happy and comfortable. once your tattoo is complete we will take some photos (optional), wrap you up, talk about after care and take payment.

. who will do my tattoo?

you select your tattoo artist when you book your appointment, vic & klaudia are the artists at tiny tattuu™. you can see their style of work on our instagram page (@tinytattuu) or their personal instagram pages (@vic_tattuu) & (@vixentatts). both artists specialise in single needle, fine line, bespoke tattoos. so rest assured, your tattoo will still be tiny!

. do you have any cancellations?

cancellations are rare. if we have any cancellations we will advertise them on our instagram story; which is on a first come first serve basis (first response).

. are tinytattuu™'s permanent? what is the differene between a fine line tattoo and a traditional one?

yes, tiny tattuu™'s are permanent tattoos. our style is minimalistic and fine line which uses a single needle. our fine line tattoos can fade at a faster rate in comparison to a traditional tattoo and may need topping up in the future. the rate at which your tattoo fades depends on skin type, tattoo placement and lifestyle.

. what advice can you give me regarding hand and finger tattoos?

tattoo line work / dot work on the hands and fingers can be a intricate, beautiful addition. however, we do warn our clients that fading and ink fall out is much more common on the hands and fingers than anywhere else on the body... due to the frequent washing, sweating and use of hands. we do not recommend tattoos in between your fingers as they can fade at an even faster rate. we do not tattoo the palm of the hand.

. can i bring a friend / my children with me to my appointment?

yes you can! however, we are a small studio with minimal seating so we ask you to please only bring one person along (unless you are coming in for a group tattoo). we do have toilet facilities. please bear in mind there are exterior stairs to our building and then steps within the building leading down to our lower ground studio. unfortunately, we have no wheelchair or pram access.

. do you offer training?

we do not currently offer training or apprenticeships as we do not have the studio space to do so and are very busy with our existing work load :) 

. what are your tattoo sizes?

we tattoo anything between 0.5mm to 10cm in length and width. we do not tend to tattoo anything larger than this but if you would like a slightly larger tattoo please email us with your enquiry.

. where is tinytattuu™ based and where can i park?

we are based in Chester City centre opposite Chester racecourse. the closest car park to use is 'Watergate Street car park'. the entrance to this car park is directly opposite the entrance to Chester racecourse. from there, our studio is a 30 second walk away; uphill, under the bridge and up the flight of outdoor stairs (on the left hand side) which lead to our big blue front door, then press the 'tinytattuu™' button to buzz in! please do not arrive more than 10 minutes for your appointment as we work on a one in one out basis and have limited seating. address; Grosvenor House, 104 Watergate St, Chester, CHI 2LF

. do we offer top ups?

yes, your tinytattu™ appointment includes a free top up (if required). you can receive a top up from 4/5 weeks after your initial appointment. you can book your top up appointment through our booking system, but we recommend to email us and we will manually slot you in around your 4/5 week mark, which you may not be able to book online. we do not tend to top up other peoples work.

. how do i purchase a voucher?

please follow the link in our instagram bio to purchase a digital voucher online or you can buy a physical voucher in the studio. we can post out physical gift cards upon request (free postage) with complementary temporary tattuus... to receive a physical gift voucher after purchasing a digital one online you must email us at helloatinytattu.com and let us know!

. how much does it hurt?

don't worry! we tattoo both first timers and tattoo pros... on average our clients rate their discomfort rate a 4/10 - it's frequently compared to a light scratching sensation. we like to ensure everyone has a positive tattoo experience, everybody is different, but usually the thought of it is far worse than how it actually feels!

. can we tattoo personal handwriting?

yes, whether this is a doodle from your best friend or words written by a loved one we can turn handwriting into a tattoo. we need a clear, birds eye view, photograph of the writing so we can transform your idea into a digital stencil and then into your tattoo.

. do you copy other people's designs?

no unless you have drawn it for us to tattoo. for many clients their tattoo inspiration is based on something they have seen on pinterest, instagram etc both our tattooists love to draw and will draw up something exclusively for you based on what you have seen / what you like. we wouldn't replicate someone else's work.

. do i lose my deposit if i cancel?

if you cancel your appointment anytime prior to the 24 hours before your appointment time you will receive a deposit refund. if you cancel within the 24 hours before your appointment time you will not be refunded.

. what if i cancel the same day or don't show up?

for same day cancellations we charge 50% of the booking fee and for a no show 100% of the booking fee will be charged. sounds harsh right? we didn't want to put this in place but the number of no shows and late cancellations is rising. we appreciate those who let us know in advance when they can't make it. we get it, life happens! :)

. i'm going on holiday... What do i do about sun exposure and swimming?

we recommend to wait 14 days before swimming. we strongly advise to use a good SPF on your tattoo when spending time in the sun. for sunbeds, we advise to wait 4 weeks and to still, always, use a good SPF.

. do we accommodate walk in appointments?

we are an appointment only studio and do not accommodate walk ins at this time.

. can i get a tattoo if i'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

we always have our clients best interest, therefore we will not tattoo anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.
